Facebook shouldn’t contain EVERYTHING about your life!
Will people ever learn!
Below:My friends facebook status this morning.
Now. I understand that this could be totally innocent and that poor women that seems to be pissing fire may well be joking and I don’t get it because it’s an ‘in joke’. What I’m getting at is that – PEOPLE ACTUALLY DO THIS on facebook!
When will people learn!! When will they learn that facebook isn’t for telling the world all about your life. It’s for ‘shit talk’, ‘bullshit’ and photos which describe ‘shit talk’ and ‘bull shit’ in a visual way.
To try help the idiots of the world understand this I’ve compiled a ‘things not to say on facebook’ list, a sort of social network etiquette. It’s not exhaustive…in fact if you think it needs something added to it post it on the page and I’ll add it!
Things Not To Put On Facebook (No particular order)
- Personal medical problems (with the exception of cold, flu, sore throat, headache, runny nose – ‘man flu’ is also acceptable)
- The fact that you hate your ex
- That you are having a mental breakdown or suffering from a mental illness (Speak to the dr. facebook can’t help you
- You miss someone (no mater if they left you or died – talk to a human or get over it!)
- Declare your undying love for someone (I don’t care, it has no impact on my life and is not romantic. In fact it’s cheap)
- Pictures of you pretending to preform some sort of sexual act on another
- X Sleeps to Go! (tweeted by @clairemdavidson)
- Write things in TXT language (commented by twinklestarz92, don’t think he wants me to post his name)
- Drunk FACEBOOK – Don’t do it!! We also don’t care about your hangovers! (commented by Mr John Meffen)
- Couples arguing! (commented on fb by Marie-Claire Harvey)
