Hacking your stock software could cost you quite a bit!
Security researchers from Russian cybercrime investigations company Groub-IB have recently identified a new piece of malware designed to steal login credentials from specialized software used to trade stocks and other securities online.
Increased Health and Safety policies in the East could drive jobs back to the west.
In the wake of disasters in Bangladesh garment factories that have claimed hundreds of lives in recent months, shoppers in the west have shown growing concern about worker safety in developing countries. As long as it doesn’t mean an end to bargains.
No doubt that what happend in Bangladesh was terrible. I don’t think the accident got enough coverage in the press. People don’t realise that the price of their cheap clothing was the reason it happened. That cheap dress or t-shirt you got from Primark came at the cost of peoples lives.
If manufactures in the East are forced to adopted health and safety measures like we have in the west we could see the manufacturing costs rise to a point where it’d be cost effective to manufacturer the product in the UK.
UK Businesses should be looking to do this already, they should be ahead of the curve. It’s going to happen. If they invest now they will win later.
